1993 Mother Day Weekend

While we were live out on the farm one weekend all the kids came home for Mother Day Saturday afternoon I think we were going to have a barbecue and eat outside Mother Marsha Lorri Karen and Beverly were get things ready for it. Someone had the TV on they came outside and tell us that they is a tornado coming this way Daddy told Mother to get all the kids and everyone in the hall we had that hall full Lorri had her dog in there too. We talking and laugh Mother said look at those guys they watch for the tornado pretty soon here they came in Daddy Jay and Jim said we saw the tornado. I don’t remember which one of them took a video of it the winds start blow a lot we were all scare we all notice Karalee my niece got autism keep crying while and right before all that was happen. After a while it was over with we were thankful that no ones was hurt God took care of us. Daddy Jay and Jim took a walk around the house and out in the field to see if we had any kind of damage. Mother had made some ducks they exploded and the patio table had a pieces of glass on top of it the guys found it out in the field it didn’t even were broken we all feel very luckily that day. The next morning we all went to church for Mother Day it were nice all of us were together that morning At the time we were going to Cumberland Presbyterian Church Jim took the church bulletin he draw a picture on it of a tornado he pass it down to Mother and he write something on it she still got it. Also it seem like Karen sing that morning in church she sing I Bowed Down On My Knee And Cried Holy Karen did sign language along with it. Mother said almost everyone came up to her afterward and tell her how much they enjoy Karen singing and wish she will come back here is the words to the song.

I Bowed Down On My Knee And Cried Holy

I dreamed of a city called Glory
It was so bright and so fair
As I entered that gate, I cried holy
All the angels met me there
And They carried me from mansion to mansion
And all The sights I saw
I said I want to see Jesus
He's the One who died for all

I bowed on my knees and cried Holy, holy, holy
I clapped my hands and sang Glory,
Glory to the Son of God
Glory to the Son of God

When I entered the gates of the city
My Loved ones all knew me well
They took me down the streets of heaven
All the saints were too many to tell
I saw Abraham, Jacob and Isaac
Talked with Mark, sat down with Timothy
But then I said, I want to see Jesus
He's the One who died for me

I bowed on my knees and cried Holy, holy, holy
I clapped my hands and sang Glory, glory, glory
I clapped my hands and sang Glory
I clapped my hands and sang Glory
I clapped my hands and sang Glory
Glory to the Son of God
Glory to the Son of God

After everyone went home that afternoon we talk about how much fun we had that weekend.

Easter Find

An egg hunt is an Easter tradition in many parts of the world. Brightly colored eggs are hidden where children can find them, and put them in their baskets. Similarly, Jesus is also hidden in this world. But if we look for him, we will find him, and he will come to live in our hearts.
