Merry Christmas

Howdy Everyone,
Day before yesterday I spend the day trying to make a Christmas Elf on the computer I were so happy with myself I figure it out. But at the end of the day I had to call Tiffany to help me some. Then she said go back and make another one it should work this time. I don’t know what I will do without all my family they always there to help me with the computer when I need them.
Anyway I went back and make another Christmas Elf like Tiffany said I send it to Mother we laugh about it I told her boy I wish I can move like that fast. Mother smiling at me and said Pam one of these days when you get to haven you will be able to move like that we both smiling that will be neat.
What A Day That Will Be.

We Went To A Play

Last Thursday we gone to the City we had Jewel Box Theater that night. We had season tickets to it Marsha Mother and I go to it last year Mother ask Wanda and Bill if they would like to go with us Mother Daddy them and some more of they friends they use to all got together went out to eat and went to the Jewel Box Theater about 40 years ago.
Marsha got Mother and I start going to the Jewel Box after Daddy die it seem like about a year after his die we start going Mother Wanda and Bill said that the theater look the same when they use to go it.
The theater is at the First Christian Church we had seen some good plays but this last Thursday night it won't any good. The play was about Love Letters everyone's around us were going to sleep we were too during the play. At half time Marsha look at Mother she said this is boring she said you want to go home Mother tell her yeah we left and went by Sonic got something to drink. They were some more people left when we did Mother talk to Wanda over the weekend she said that her and Bill decide to leave too we all talk we couldn't believe it because most of the time the plays are good.

Fireproof Movie

This past Sunday night our church Immanuel Baptist in Duncan has been sale tickets for a movie Fireproof Kirk Cameron is in the movie he was in Growing Pains on television. Our church we all meet Sunday night at the theater Fireproof is a great movie. The same church that made Facing the Giants made Fireproof I hope and prayer that they will keep up the good work and make some more great movies like those God is really working in that church. It a really good movie for the whole family to see here is what the movie is about.

Mother Cactus

About 2 weeks ago Mother and I were getting ready to leave for church Sunday morning. As Mother going out of the door she said oh Pam Mother sound surprise and she said the cactus is in full bloom. It had 4 blooms on it were pretty Mother buy the cactus from Bob and Pauline at the Smith reunion at the Auction they had every year. We all laugh about it when Mother bring home she and Daddy got to look at it and saw that they were a big long nail in the pot we wonder why Pauline
put a nail in there we never knew why. All of ours neighbors saw that the cactus before and then that day they were really surprise too. Just like we were Mother she took pictures of the bloom Mother said it good that we enjoy it today because the bloom just last that day. Mother and I laugh about it she said I had that
cactus for 15 years and the bloom on it just last for one day.

Kindred & Smith Reunion Weekend

This is Labor Day the Kindred and Smith had they reunion on this weekend Mother Aunt Lois and Debbie had the food catered it were really good this year everyone were talking about it. Jim and Beverly were coming for it. But Jim have to had surgery done the doctor want him to stay home and rest we are thank the Lord he came through alright. Jay Karen and Clinton came up Saturday for the Kindred it nice to had them come. At the reunion they were about 130 there it nice to see all the Aunts Uncles and Cousins together I remember Grandmother use to enjoy those times. Debbie had some prizes that they draw for everyone got ticket everyone enjoy it in our family Karen Clinton and I got a prize it were a nice reunion.

Sunday the Smith had they reunion at Waurika Mother and I went down for it they had about 60 people there I told Mother on the way down it hard to go to the reunion since Daddy die but I know that he it will make him happy we keep going to them. Maxine die a few months ago we all miss her too everyone were happy to see Mother and I Martha sat by us when we were eat we laugh at her she said I don't know some of these people. I saw Gerald come up on a 3 wheel motorcycle I ask him about it he laugh and said it my toy he want to know if I will like to go for a ride on it I tell him no thank you. At both reunions they had an auction everyone seem like they have fun it were a nice weekend.

Summer Olympic

We been enjoy watch the Beijing Olympic Michael Phelps he win every swim he did. Beach Volleyball Kerri Walsh and Misty May they are really good. Gymnastics Shawn Johnson Before the Olympic every start we read a story in Guideposts about Shawn it tell that she going to be in the Gymnastics at the Olympic the rest of the week look like it going to be good too. Mother and I were talking the other night I told her that I don't think that I had enjoy the Olympic like this they been really good.

Trust in the Lord

Last Thursday morning I had Mother bring my scooter from the garage so I could take a ride on it. Before I took off I notice that the light was blink that mean the scooter need to be charger the battery. But it seem like it has a lot of power I thought I charger it up here while back I told Mother I am going to go ahead and take ride around the apartment. When I took off I was going really good I got about half way down at the end of the apartment then it start to run out of power. As soon as I knew what was happen I turn around to start home and I pray that the Lord will help me get home.

One thing I always do before I every go for a ride I tell Mother in case something happen so I knew that she know where I am and will come look for me if I don't show up. It amazing me when we need the Lord he always here for us I just trust and believe his going to help get me home. After I got part way I decide when I could I will go in between the apartments as soon as I got to the courtyard I knew right then the Lord was with me. Because I saw ours neighbor she were come back from get her mail his send her just the right time I holler at her and ask her to go get Mother for me. When Mother got out there to me she help me get back and take care of the scooter. Mother and I got inside I told her that the Lord took care of me I thank him.

Good To Have Friends

We haven't been doing very much late the weather been pretty hot these days it got up to 106 today.

   To morning Mother went up to Oklahoma City to go to Jackie Ritter funeral she is Ronnie Ritter wife. When we were kids the Ritter Hixon and us went to the lake  together all the time. Sometimes we get together to see each other I think about 2 years ago Linda had a birthday party for Bill her Daddy Linda ask all of us to come it was nice to see everyone's we enjoy the day. That were the first time we meet Jackie she was a sweet lady she had cancer Mother said Ronnie is doing alright he said he hate to lose her but she went to be with the Lord and she won't be in no more pain we always hate to give up ours lovely ones.

A Nice Ride

 

Yesterday morning Mother and I went to Bowie the other day when we came back from Texas Mother stop in Bowie to buy some peach. The peach were really sweet and juicy Mother ask the girl where the peach came from she said here in Bowie my Daddy told me to get out here and sale them they got a farm outside of town the peach are good.

   Aunt Lois and Uncle Kenneth came over tonight we went out eat to eat came back and play dominoes.

We got home Tuesday from Texas

 

Last Wednesday Mother and I went Texas to see everyone we went to the lake to see Jay Karen and Clinton it were fun we didn't do very much just take it easy. Read play dominoes and eat a lot they took us to a new restaurant I think Jay said it new we sat out on the deck it were nice enjoy each other.

   Saturday morning we went to Jim and Beverly to spend some time with them that night Jim want us all go to Logan's Steakhouse to eat with the family. It were good to see everyone after we went over to Jennifer and Kasey new house it nice they hope to move into it this week sometime. After church we meet Sergio it good to see him while we gone every night Jay and Jim had a movie to show Mother and me we enjoy ourself.

4th Of July

 

   Yesterday the 4th of July Marsha came down in the afternoon Mother and Marsha took me over to Lawton for my birthday. We went to the movie we saw Kit Kittredge An American Girl it were good then we went out to eat.

   After that we came back home for a while and got ours lawn chairs Mother said Debbie told her that we could come over to her and Ron house to sat on they drive way to watch the fireworks. Debbie and Ron live across from the country club that where they were having the fireworks Debbie was working last night. But Ron came out join us we had a nice visit while we wait for the fireworks

Marsha bring each one of us a little bucket full of candy and things to eat she always think of things like that while we enjoy the night.

 

James Smith Diana Husband

Thursday Marsha call Mother she told her that she got a newsletter from Bone & Joint Hospital when she read it Marsha said they a story in it about a guy in a small town Temple Oklahoma. About ours cousin James Smith Diane husband some time ago James went up there to had knee surgery. I don't remember how it went but it seem like the doctor saw where his is bold legs they want to straight out his legs for him. James is a neat guy after the doctor did the surgery they told him to go home and throw away all of his shoe because if his put them back on it will wrong all the surgery. We saw him after it was all over with he look great and very tall we were happy for him.

Mother call Uncle George to see if his and Aunt Clovis heard about the newsletter after Marsha call her. Uncle George said yes we heard I guess the hospital send them a newletter it sound like it neat story. In the picture James is behind everyone.

Work Day

          Jim meet Jay at Bowie to morning and they meet Mother and I at Temple they work on Daddy grave put dirt and grass seed on it. It look good we all hope that it will rain soon to help it Jay and Jim took some pictures.
     Mother said lets go down to Waurika and find somewhere to  eat before we go home we went to Bill fish house we use to go down there when were little kids.
 

Monday Morning

We got up early to morning went to Oklahoma City Mother had to go to the doctor for him to check her mouth. Marsha took her to the doctor he took the stitch out of her and told her that it will take a while to heal Mother said it feel better to get the stitch out we are just prayer's it will be much better in the weeks ahead and it will okay.
After they got through with the doctor we meet Ashley and Gram for lunch and got to visit with them before we came home Mother and I talking how cute Gram is.
It was a nice day Mother got a good report from the doctor we are happy about that.

Last Night

Last night Aunt Lois Uncle Kenneth Debbie and Ron came over we all went down to Bob fish house to eat. Debbie and Ron took us by they new house to show us they are fix it up it going be nice when they get done with it.
Mother Aunt Lois and Debbie talking about the reunion in 2 3 months they said it going to be here soon.
